GARDEN:

Fungicide for plants – Black spots, brown spots on the leaves: they are due to microscopic fungi… You need a fungicide to rid your plants of them. Mix 5 teaspoons of powder with 4 liters of water. Add 1 liter of liquid soap and spray everything on the affected plants. For best results, water plants generously 2 days before treating with this spray.

Insecticide – It is an organic insecticide. Against ants, aphids, spider mites and other insects, spray your plants with an aqueous solution of baking soda (1 teaspoon of powder for 1 liter of water).

Mildew – Downy mildew is the generic name for a series of fungal diseases affecting many plant species, including vines, tomatoes and potatoes. […] Baking soda spray is quite effective against mildew. Dissolve 1 teaspoon of powder in 3 liters of water and add 1 tablespoon of liquid Marseille soap (or dishwashing liquid) so that the solution clings to the leaves. Spray this solution (which is in no way harmful) under and on the leaves after watering, and renew it after each heavy rain.

Oïdium – It appears as a greyish-white, mealy-looking powder (felting), on the surface of leaves, stems and sometimes flowers. Powdery mildew can cause leaves to become distorted, curling and blistering. Baking soda spray is quite effective against powdery mildew. Its basic pH prevents fungal spores from germinating. Dissolve 1 teaspoon of powder per liter of water and add 1 teaspoon of liquid Marseille soap or milk so that the solution clings to the leaves. Spray this solution (which is in no way harmful) under and on the leaves and renew after each heavy rain.

Walkway Weed killer- Sprinkle it between the stones or the slabs of the paths, on a terrace: it slows down the regrowth of unwanted weeds.
