Raw coconut flour is the ground flesh of dried, organic coconuts. 100% coconut, so 100% gluten-free. This is a delicious product to give your bakes a mild coconut flavour and make the structure a bit crumblier. Coconut flour work very well in combination with almond flour, which actually has a more compact structure. You should ideally use small amounts of coconut flour in your bake or compensate for the moisture-absorbing quality of coconut flour by adding more (coconut) fat and/or more eggs. Experiment and enjoy!
How to use it: Coconut flour makes your mixture brittle, and it absorbs a lot of moisture. For a good texture in your baking, combine a little coconut flour with almond or chickpea flour.
How you keep it: After opening, store airtight in a dry, dark place at room temperature (max 20 ° C).
