The 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝐑𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 is now live and we are thrilled to share our journey towards responsible hospitality in Mauritius.

This year, we’ve hit some incredible milestones within our 𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 framework, making significant progress in reducing our environmental footprint and enhancing community wellbeing. 🌍💚

Key highlights from our 2023 achievements:
– Achieved a remarkable 64% of waste diversion from landfills through recycling, reuse and composting

– Reduced electricity consumption by 16% and water consumption by 4% per guest night

– Conducted a comprehensive carbon footprint assessment to guide our future actions

– Signed MOU with neighbouring hotels to implement complementary measures aimed at protecting local ecosystems and reducing the impact of human activities on the environment

– Collaborated with 6 NGOs for poverty alleviation projects

These achievements have emboldened us to dream bigger and act bolder. This means engaging more deeply in sustainable projects, exploring innovative solutions and expanding our network of stakeholders who share our vision for a sustainable tourism industry.
