3. They produce 10% of the global CO2 emissions – MORE than PLANE & SHIP traffics COMBINED !

4. Up to 30% of their products will NEVER get sold !

5. They use up to 3500 chemicals in their processes – 750 are harmful to YOUR health and 440 to NATURE !

6. Only 1% of textiles are made out of old fabrics !

7. 35% of new microplastics in the ocean comes from THEIR production !

Greenpeace Germany released the report Self regulation: a fashion fairytale. The report takes hold of a campaign that was initiated by Greenpeace eleven years ago, entitled Detox My Fashion.
A campaign that was aiming to abolish the use of hazardous chemicals within fashion — that harms both climate and human life – by 2020.
