Vegetable glycerin is a clear, odorless and sweet-tasting liquid derived from vegetable fats. It is added to food, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals and may offer health benefits, such as moisturized and resilient skin, relief from constipation, improved hydration and better physical performance.

Vegetable glycerin, also known as glycerol or glycerine, is a clear liquid typically made from soybean, coconut or palm oils.

It is odorless and has a mild, sweet taste with a syrup-like consistency.

Vegetable glycerin is particularly popular in the cosmetic industry but has several other uses as well. It may also provide health benefits, ranging from skin health to better hydration and a strengthened gut.

What is it?

It is a moisturising agent for skin and hair. It incorporates very easily into your emulsions (milk

creams), your shower gels, your shampoos… to which it brings a very soft touch. It will also allow you to make your own hydroglycerinated macerates of plants.

DOMESTIC USE:

Properties:

 Helps dissolve stains on fabrics and loosens fibers for easier cleaning.

How to use it?

To remove a stain (fruit, tea, coffee, chocolate, lipstick, etc.) from a fabric: soak the stain in vegetable

glycerin, massaging in to make it penetrate well. Leave overnight then wet and wash normally.

STORAGE:

Stores very well in the long term at room temperature, close the container tightly after use and store

away from humidity, heat and light.

– Avoid contact with eyes.

– Do not apply pure vegetable glycerin on the skin.

– Do not swallow.
