Ecopress is ready to use once it has been mounted and securely fixed to a rigid vertical area. Otherwise there is a danger of damage.

Put the can or PET bottle into the Ecopress. Loosen the PET bottle lid so that the air can escape out of the bottle during the pressing. Put the bottle-neck into the slot in the upper jaw and push the bottom of the bottle into the presser. By continuously pressing down on the can or bottle between the presser jaws. If the bottle offers inadequate resistance check once again whether the bottle lid is loose enough.

Press the can or bottle by pressing the lever into the bottom position. Before releasing the lever tighten the bottle lid so that the air cannot get back into the bottle. The bottle will then remain in a compressed position.
