The Tourism Authority is pleased to present its new edition of the Sustainable Tourism Mauritius Awards 2023 with the commitment to promote good sustainable practices in the Tourism Industry.

This second edition will honour organisations and/or individuals in Mauritius and Rodrigues for their outstanding work in reducing their carbon footprint in 2022 to date, and contributing to sustainable travel. It will also recognise those who are driving environmental and responsible awareness and adopting tangible measures to ensure enhanced sustainability within the tourism sector.

More than ever, role models are needed who can drive change forward and use the crisis as an opportunity for real transformation.

The Sustainable Tourism Mauritius Awards recognise the safest and most sustainable stakeholders in the tourism and hospitality industry, as well as local SMEs, rewarding the genuine efforts to change for the better.
